For questions and appointments, please contact our International Service Desk at international@mavie-med.at.
Our team of professional case managers will connect you with the most suitable specialists and guide you through the entire process.
Our International Service Team speaks several languages and can provide interpreter services in Romanian, Hungarian, Russian, and Ukrainian.
For other languages, we recommend bringing your own interpreter if needed. All doctors and hospital staff speak English.
Treatment costs depend on your individual diagnosis, treatment plan, and personal requirements. We are happy to prepare a personalized cost estimate for you. All prices are based on our official price list.
Final invoices are calculated according to the services actually provided.
Mavie Med hospitals have direct billing agreements with several international insurance companies. Our hospitals will be pleased to inform you.
Please check with your insurer to confirm whether your treatment costs are covered.
If your insurance company does not have a direct agreement with us, you will need to pay for your treatment yourself and apply for reimbursement afterwards. We will gladly assist you with the necessary documentation.
Treatment costs must be settled at least 4 days before your admission to the hospital. Payments can be made by bank transfer or by credit card (SaferPay).
If your insurance company has a direct billing agreement with us, you must present a Guarantee of Payment (GOP) covering all treatment costs upon admission.
Please ensure that you have valid travel documents, flight tickets, and – if applicable – a visa.
If needed, the hospital can provide a confirmation letter for your visa application after receiving the advance payment.
Yes, family members are welcome. They may visit patients at any time during the day. In some cases, relatives may stay in the patient’s room.
However, in most situations, it is more comfortable and cost-effective for family members to stay in a nearby hotel. We will be pleased to recommend you a hotel.
At discharge, you will receive all relevant medical reports, prescriptions, and follow-up recommendations.
Yes, absolutely. Since many specialists are external partners who work with the hospital on a case-by-case basis, it may be quicker to contact your attending specialist directly.
Of course, our team also remains at your disposal for any further questions.
